Who can join HASA?
Any undergraduate or graduate student at the University of North Florida. Membership is open year-round.

What are the benefits and opportunities offered to members?
We offer many well-known guest speakers from the local and national healthcare community, field trips to major healthcare sites around the Jacksonville area, as well as insightful information to the Health Administration field via networking opportunities.

When and where are general meetings usually held?
Meetings can be held in the Brooks College of Health, the Student Union, or remotely via Zoom. Please check your email and our Instagram page to stay up to date on meetings and events.

What is the definition of "active member"?
All general members will be considered active members and are eligible for graduation cords, provided they maintain over 50% attendance for HASA events per semester.

How many events must I go to during my time as a member?
As many as possible! We would like to encourage members to be able to network and make their membership as beneficial as they can during their length of time with us.
​
How do I receive additional items such as cords and pins?
These items will be provided to active members of HASA. To be considered an active member, he or she must be involved in at least 50% of events per semester with every semester that his or her membership entails.
